Every week we engage with 100’s of Jobseekers who are looking for new positions and I’ve started to notice a pattern.

When people reach out to us asking for assistance with moving - internationally or locally - it's usually led with:

  • "It's my dream to move to Dubai"

  • "I'd be a great fit for the role"

  • "I'm moving to X in 2 months time and need a job"

There’s a secret ingredient missing from these outreaches.

Where's the value for a Hiring Manager receiving these from a business perspective?

The outreaches are typically tied to circumstance over the value that you can bring to the table.

In an environment where it's hard enough to get seen, it's so important your first impression is fine-tuned to give you the best chance of success.

For that, it’s super important you define - and lead - with your value-add.

  • What success have you had in the role before?

  • What examples can you give of this?

  • What do you bring to the table that others don't?

Put those front and centre in your outreach.

Nail this and the logistics are secondary if you really are the right person for the role.

FAQ - How’s the Market Looking? - October 2025

Our most frequently asked question. It’s hard to be specific as we work across multiple markets and verticals but the general gist is that we remain in a client-driven market.

Put simply: Supply (applicants looking) outweighs demand (jobs available).

This tighter market is reflected in the downward results of the large Recruitment PLCs and something we anticipate to carry over into the first part of 2026.

Our advice is to stay consistent, build an online presence and go off-LinkedIn as much as possible when applying for new positions.

Whatever you answered, stay strong - We’ve previously written about the importance of staying visible, patience and breaking through in crowded markets.
