MCG Talent - Live Roles - W/E 4th May

It's been nearly three months since I moved to Hong Kong from Dubai to head up our Asia operations. To say I've learnt a ton would be an understatement.

𝗜𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁: this is my third time moving abroad and I thought I'd have a pretty good handle on what I was about to go through.

I was wrong.

↳ Challenging? Yes.

↳ Rewarding? 10000x Yes.

If I had to sum up the three biggest takeaways that have helped with the transition. 

1) 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀.

Stick by them and don't flinch in the face of new challenges and a new environment.

You know what works and they're a lot more universal than you think.

2) 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. 

It's normal to want/see/do everything all at once, especially when you move somewhere new.

Don't be frustrated by the pace. Things take time and that's par for the course.

3) 𝗘𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆.

Cliche and I always hate reading this but (annoyingly) it's true.

It's not meant to be easy and you've got to work hard.

Doesn't mean you can't have some fun along the way.

MENA - Priority Roles

🇸🇦 Riyadh - Events Manager - Events

🇭🇰 Hong Kong - Software Engineer - Finance
A leading financial tech innovator with offices across Asia seeks a Software Engineer in Hong Kong to develop robust financial applications and integrate cutting-edge technologies. Ideally we are looking for someone who has worked with a GoLang Tech stack before.

🇨🇳 Beijing - Comms Lead - Agency
Our client, a global agency with a strong presence in Asia, seeks a Comms Lead to drive strategic communications and manage high-impact campaigns across the region.
