MCG Talent - Live Roles - W/E 27th April
I see a lot of people online giving tips on how to break into X,Y or Z market. What they often fail to realise is this.
Finding a new role anywhere is an incomplete science. There is no singular correct way to do it.
What works for one person might not for the next.
Truthfully, it relies on a multitude of factors - some of which are hard to influence.
The most successful candidates that I've seen are those who utilise a number of competitive advantages, go all-in and play the long game.
If I had to give advice that would be so universal it would work across all of the global markets we recruit it would be:
- Spend as little time as possible on LinkedIn and try and take any conversations off-platform.
- Expect rejection, it's completely natural and par for the course.
- Do the work. A candidate who sits back and relies on 'Easy Apply' is going to be beaten 9 times out of 10 vs someone who is proactive in their search.

MENA - Priority Roles
🇦🇪 - Dubai - Head of Communications - PR/Comms
Our client, a leading independent agency in Dubai, seeks a Head of Communications to spearhead strategic communication efforts and drive brand narratives across MENA. They want a seasoned leader with a proven track record in managing high-impact campaigns and fostering brand growth.

🇭🇰 Hong Kong - Ruby on Rails Developer.
A leading tech innovator with multiple offices across Asia, seeks a Ruby on Rails Developer to build scalable web applications and APIs with Web3/Blockchain integrations. Experience working with AI tools is considered a huge plus.
