MCG Talent - Live Roles - W/E 13th April

This week’s Newsletter comes at a bit of a strange and turbulent time globally.

We are particularly sensitive to this where we work across so many of the markets that have been impacted the heaviest by the news - particularly here in Hong Kong whose performance aligns so closely with China. 

If there’s one thing we’ve learnt over the past few years working in challenging markets it’s to stay calm and persevere. 

Hiring happened even through the depths of Covid and relatively flat years like 2023. If anything - I think the last few years have made us all more able to operate in uncertainty.

MENA - Priority Roles

 🇦🇪 - Dubai - Finance Director - Media.  

Our client is a leading media and analytics company who are based in Dubai - but operate regionally across MENA. They are targeting an experienced Finance Director to join their operations and help lead their finance department regionally. The role leads a team and we need someone who can hit the ground running into a busy environment. 

Candidates must be able to speak Arabic in order to be considered and have a background in working for a similar company in the region. 🇸🇦 - KSA - Senior Sales Executives - AI/Tech.

We are partnered with a leading AI/Tech platform who are launching across the Middle East. They are in the process of securing their first hires in the Middle East and looking for someone from a strong Tech Sales background who can help drive their presence in the region from 0-1.

🇸🇦 - KSA - Communications Manager/Director - Agency. 

MCG Talent are seeking a mid-senior Communications Manager/Director to join one of our clients who are a strategic communications firm. In this role you will be part of the communications team and will be advising companies on public relations, public affairs, strategic positioning, and CEO positioning.

APAC - Priority Roles

🇭🇰 Hong Kong - Full Stack/Backend Engineer.

My client is a FS/Brokerage looking for a Full Stack/Backend engineer with node.js/nest.js experience. Experience working with AI tools is considered a huge + given the innovation element of the role. 

We are open to base across APAC but preference is for SG/HK (maybe Taipei if willing to work remote). The ideal background is start-up/fintech and we’re benchmarking 5-8 years experience.

🇸🇬 Singapore - Key Account Director - Travel/Tech.  

MCG are partnered with a Travel/Tech platform who are looking for a Key Account Director to manage and grow two of their largest accounts in the region. They are an established name and are looking for someone who has experience of managing large enterprise clients and nurturing them. 

The role reports to a team in the UK and also a team in China - fluency in Mandarin would be a plus. We are looking for a track record of sales/account handling and these must be demonstrated upon submission in order to be considered. Please reach out to Harry Lee for more information.

🇭🇰 Hong Kong - Content Writer - Tech/FS. 

MCG are working with a leading Tech/FS company who are targeting a Content Writer to join their team. The ideal applicant must have experience working in the FS/Crypto space and have a portfolio of work available to share - preferably mixed between short and long form content.
