Quick Thoughts - The Middle East

Incredibly challenging times across the Middle East at the moment, and my thoughts are with everyone affected.

There’s a huge amount of uncertainty across the region right now.

I don’t think anyone can predict the long-term implications and how this will impact in the short-mid term. It’s too soon to tell.

Like many businesses with teams and partners in the Middle East, we’re keeping a close eye on the situation and staying in regular contact with our team there.

The region is and has been home for many of our team over the years. I was fortunate enough to spend time living in the UAE myself and it shaped so much of my perspective on business, culture, and life.

I also got to spend a fair bit of time in Riyadh and Doha for work - two beautiful cities.

It's a place I care deeply about. A region that has shown incredible strength time and time again.

What continues to inspire me - even from the outside looking in - is the spirit of the people across the Middle East.

That resilience isn't new. It's been proven over decades and what has enabled the countries across the GCC to achieve such amazing things.

From our side, we remain committed to our team, our partners, and our clients across the Middle East. We're here for the long term.

Hoping for a swift resolution and for stability to return across the region soon.
